Hi, I'm Veronica (She/Her)
Certified Childbirth Educator & Postpartum Doula
My journey into motherhood opened my eyes to how important support, education, and preparation are during the transition to parenthood. As an immigrant mother, I experienced firsthand what it feels like to navigate pregnancy, birth preparation, and postpartum while building a support system far from home. That experience inspired me to become a certified childbirth educator and postpartum doula dedicated to helping families feel informed, supported, and confident.
I am certified through BEST and trained as both a Childbirth Educator and Postpartum Doula. My approach is rooted in compassion, evidence-based education, and meeting families where they are.
I live in South Minneapolis with my husband Ryan and our daughter, Isabelle. As a family, we love trying new foods, exploring new places, spending time at the family cabin, dancing in the kitchen, and going for walks together.
I fully appreciate a good cup of tea, meaningful conversations, and being surrounded by authentic, open-minded people.
Originally from Tanzania, I have also lived in Texas and have proudly called the Twin Cities home for the past several years. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics, along with a Master's in Business Administration and Business Analytics. While those fields may seem different from birth work, they have strengthened my love for education, problem-solving, and helping others navigate important life transitions with confidence.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey into parenthood.
Why Work With Me
-
VERO Doula was born from a personal experience that showed me how important support, education, and preparation can be during the transition to parenthood.
As I navigated pregnancy, birth preparation, and postpartum, I realized that many families are expected to figure things out on their own. Whether you're preparing for your first baby, living far from family, or simply feeling overwhelmed by all the information available, parenthood can feel both exciting and uncertain.
That experience inspired me to become a certified childbirth educator and postpartum doula. Today, my mission is to help families feel informed, confident, and supported as they prepare for birth and adjust to life with a new baby.

At VERO Doula, every family deserves to feel:
Valued
Your experiences, concerns, and goals matter. You deserve care that is respectful, compassionate, and free from judgment.
Empowered
Knowledge builds confidence. I provide evidence-based information to help families make informed decisions throughout pregnancy and postpartum.
Resourced
No one should have to navigate parenthood alone. I connect families with trusted resources, professionals, and support systems.
Supported
Parenthood is a major life transition. My goal is to provide encouragement, guidance, and practical support every step of the way.
-
Every family is unique, which is why there is no one-size-fits-all approach to support.
I believe in meeting families where they are—listening first, understanding their needs, and providing personalized education and support that aligns with their values and goals.
My role is not to tell you what decisions to make. Instead, I provide information, guidance, and encouragement so you can feel confident making the choices that are right for your family.
Through childbirth education and postpartum support, I strive to create a welcoming space where families feel heard, prepared, and empowered.
